Sejal Binnings

Known to her friends and family as “the planner,” Sejal Binnings orchestrates the flow of information involved in every real estate transaction at the Binnings Team. Her objective is to lead clients step by step through the complex, document-intensive process of buying and selling a home. “The idea is to make the process as stress-free as possible for the client, so they never have to ask us what needs to happen next.”

Whether it’s writing offers, completing disclosure packages, or preparing contracts, Sejal makes sure the necessary paperwork is put together correctly, professionally, and on time. Once a home is under contract, she stays in constant communication with the specialists required to close the deal—escrow and title companies, inspectors, lenders, and agents. Her persistence, patience, and consistency are reflected in the Binnings Team’s reputation for excellence in the San Francisco real estate market. “Ours is very much a true partnership,” says Sejal of the team. “It’s really very collaborative.”

Sejal is often an invaluable resource for buyers too, helping them to narrow overwhelming lists of home buying options and to tour prospective neighborhoods while intuitively gathering information that often leads to finding just the right property.

Sejal gets her eye for detail from her background of working in nonprofit fundraising and environmental law. Sejal worked as part of the fundraising team responsible for rebuilding the California Academy of Sciences before becoming one of the Founding Members of Christie's | San Francisco | Marin | Wine Country.

She met her husband, Arrian Binnings, while earning a master’s degree in political management (which Sejal has found to be surprisingly helpful in negotiating transaction terms) from George Washington University. The two lived in Atlanta before moving back to San Francisco. Sejal, who grew up in Los Gatos, loves the Northern California's urban energy, diversity, and natural beauty. In her limited free time, Sejal can be found volunteering at her sons' school, cheering on the Warriors, 49ers, and USC Trojans to victory, or working up a sweat at SoulCycle or hot pilates.
