SAN FRANCISCO

Cherry Blossom Festival  April 11-12 and 18-19, 2026

This dazzling display showcases the vibrant colors and grace of the Japanese culture, and the rich heritage and diversity of the Japanese American community. All are welcome to join in the festivities as we celebrate the blooming of the cherry blossoms and Japanese and Japanese American culture. The Festival features Japanese cultural performances, traditional arts, live music, the annual Queen Program, and more. This event is free and open to the public.

San Francisco Art Fair  April 16-19, 2026

Bringing together a dynamic cross-section of modern and contemporary art from the Bay Area and beyond. With an emphasis on thoughtful presentation and curatorial rigor, the fair’s 14th edition will reflect the experimental and inclusive character of the Bay Area while continuing its role as a year-round platform for the many voices of its region.

San Francisco Decorator Showcase  April 25-May 25, 2026

The 2026 San Francisco Decorator Showcase invites you to explore an extraordinary Queen Anne-style Victorian residence at 2315 Broadway Street in Pacific Heights. Built in 1897 and designed by architect Moses J. Lyon, the historic home spans nearly 10,000 square feet and will serve as the setting for the iconic design event, taking place April 25 – May 25, 2026. This year’s house is a must-see celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community.

International Ocean Film Festival  April 2 (San Rafael) and April 10-12, 2026 (San Francisco)

For twenty three years, the International Ocean Film Festival has brought the wonder, urgency, and power of the ocean to the big screen. What began in 2004 as a bold vision has grown into a global platform for ocean literacy, education, and independent film that reaches audiences of all ages.

At the heart of the festival is our signature three day celebration of ocean storytelling, where breathtaking cinematography meets courageous journalism, scientific discovery, and deeply human stories from around the world. Each film is a window into the blue heart of our planet, revealing both its extraordinary beauty and the critical challenges it faces.

Egg Hunts  April 3 & 4, 2026

Celebrate spring with the Twin Cities Egg Hunts hosted by Larkspur and Corte Madera, offering two fun-filled community events for all ages. The festivities kick off with an evening flashlight egg hunt at Piper Park in Larkspur, followed by a daytime egg hunt at Town Park in Corte Madera where families can gather, hunt for eggs, and enjoy photos with the Easter Bunny.

Earth Day Marin  April 26, 2026

Celebrate Earth Day in Mill Valley, with fun activities, green exhibits, art and music for all ages!

Visit over 50 exhibits and activities hosted by green businesses, environmental and community groups to build a more just and sustainable world. You will learn about clean energy, electric vehicles, green homes, healthy food, resilient communities, climate justice and democracy.
